If you havn't heard already Australia has unfortunately lost the Hopman Cup to South Africa.

In this game Japan replaced Slovak Republic due to injury. Mark Philippoussis withdrew from remaining matches due to injury. Australia defaulted.
The Final was between Thailand and South Africa, with South Africa coming out on top 3 - 0.
There you have it folks. It was injury that stopped us - not skill. Fortunately it wasn't our beloved Jelena who was injured, but it wasn't good that it was Mark either!
