A Dark Day for Jelena

It's been another dark day for Jelena Dokic and father Damir. He has been thrown out of the US Open and has been banned for the remainder of the competition.

Trouble flared up when Damir made some noise about the price of food in a nearby restaurant and began shouting at the cashier selling the food. Moment's later U.S. Open Head of Security Pete Pistole came racing onto the scene and began escorting Damir from the site. He was pushing Damir and was acting very violently towards him.

All reports and press releases state that Damir never ONCE used physical forces against Pistole but, the so called head of security kept hitting him and shouting at him. Moments later they were joined by Jelena who was visibly upset and was in tears. She tried to stop Pistole pushing her father. Damir pleaded with the security guard " stop hitting me ". According to witnesses Damir took Jelena's id badge from around her neck, giving it to Pistole he took it and threw it up in the air!

The pair, Jelena and Damir finally managed to leave the ground with Jelena crying hysterically.

This is just me speculating and is in no way official. But through my work for www.jelena-dokic.com I have become familiar with the Behaviour of the Dokic's and I think that Jelena may well pull out of the whole open. Jelena always plays with Damir watching and her match against Miriam Oremans tomorrow in my opinion is in doubt.

Its up to Dokic to decide now, I hope she will go it alone because she has a great chance of doing well but I fear that today's events have already marred any possible success for Jelena.
